AFR165's right out of the box bolted to a refreshed stock block, stock cam 5.0 gained a 100 horsepower. Afr's or twisted wedge heads are the only way to go. Cheaper heads need guide work and sometimes a valve job before you can use them. Edelbrock e heads are good to but are priced close the the afr's.

I just built a 355 with ProMaxx Maxx 183 heads. Engine runs great and not looking for new heads, but I was looking at the AFR 195 Enforcer heads. I had never seen them before. I got to looking at the advertised flow numbers for the AFR's.
